1. Introductions, apologies and substitutions
1.1 The Chair welcomed everybody to the meeting. There were no apologies.
2. Inquiry into the Regeneration of Town Centres: Ministerial Scrutiny Session
2.1 The Chair welcomed the Minister and his officials to the meeting.
2.2 The Minister agreed to provide the Committee with the following additional information on:
· Planning policies which cover the criteria for need with regards retail.
· A list of the proposals referred to the Design Commission for Wales review service.
· A comparison of the current provision of grants with the amounts allocated historically by the Welsh Development Agency (WDA) prior to their merger into the Welsh Government.
· A breakdown of the £8 million allocated to Cardiff Bay from the Minister’s budget.
